USA-Canada transborder black feminine civil rights activism

This article aims to explore the transnational links of activism against racial discrimination in two territories: the United States and Canada.Indeed, although the fights of the leaders of the American civil rights movement 5R as well as the organisations which fought against systemic racism are known throughout the world; black activism in Canada and the impact American black consciousness had on the development of Canadian militancy remain quite unexplored.The purpose of this article is therefore to lay emphasis on this American-Canadian correlation and to delve into the role played by Inserts black women on both sides of the border.
